The northern terminus in Kalamunda lies 24km east of Perth’s city centre. The southern terminus is located in the town of Albany.

CAMPSITES

There are 49 campsites along the Track spaced a day’s walk apart. Early on, campsites are spaced at 10 km intervals, stretching up to 25 km along later sections of the track. Each has a three-sided timber shelter and picnic facilities (table, rainwater tank, pit toilet).

NOTES

Clean your boots at the stations provided.
No bikes, cars or animals allowed.
Use only the designated vehicle access points along the track to minimise disease spread.
Trail markers (yellow triangles) may be inconsistent or missing, so do not rely on them alone – take a map, compass, consider a guidebook.
It is usually too hot to walk in the peak of summer. It is strongly recommended that you do not carry out any extended walk between December and the start of March anywhere on the Track (bushfires).
Campfire ban from December through until as late as April.
